While the property is being secured, fire authorities will be conducting an inspection. DK will always wait for the go-ahead to proceed with any services and will NEVER disturb a fire scene until the property has been released by fire investigators.

Once the scene has been released, DK will proceed with a fire damage assessment. DK’s restoration managers will work with your insurance company to create a comprehensive plan to restore your property and possessions. DK works with all insurance companies.

 The first step in restoring a property is removing all offending odors and their source. DK will clean, deodorize, and where appropriate, remove compromised building materials. This process requires trained technicians, specific equipment and plan designed by a Certified Restorer.
